“SMILE it’s Friday” Community Meal
An after-school family session with activities, including The Little Crèche providing Ofsted registered childcare so the parents can take part in a Zumba session. Followed by a shared meal, wonderfully prepared by SMILE families with The Friendly Food Company.
SMILE West Howe and Kinson
Mikala and the team have lots going on across West Howe including: summer activities, drop-ins and monthly inter-generational meals.
SMILE new skills: Fishing project
Providing opportunity for children from lone parent families to build their self-confidence and be around positive male role models.
SMILE special events: Lone Parent Fair
An annual FREE day of fun and treats for lone parent families including pamper parlour, haircuts, massages and beauty treatments, BBQ, family photographs, face painting, Jamie Jigsaw and much more!
SMILE special events: Retreats
We offer opportunities for space in a busy life. A chance to relax and reflect, or to do something creative or frivolous. We hold a number of day or weekend retreats throughout the year, and hope that each family will be able to be a part of at least one retreat a year
