47 rough sleepers got into more secure accommodation through Sleepsafe 2016-17:
Following a serious car accident, one man had been hospitalised for several months and therefore lost tenancy and home; he came into Sleepsafe to get stability while he got ID and re-established contact with family; it was a stepping stone to now having his own flat, volunteering with BCARS and now having a paid job

If you come across someone sleeping rough in Bournemouth or Poole

  1. Call the Rough Sleeper team on 01202 315962 and they will seek to make contact with them

  2. There is a Drop-In
Venue: St. Stephens Church Hall, St. Stephen’s Way, Bournemouth, BH2 6JZ
    When: Monday & Wednesday – Friday, 9am-10am
