More about the Sleepsafe Mission 2018/9:

20 Churches in Bournemouth have offered to help with Sleepsafe this year which is amazing! We praise God for His love that He’s shown to us as we seek to demonstrate this love to those in a less fortunate place than us. This is an amazing demonstration of the churches working together to help those who, like all of us, need some help on this journey we call ‘Life’.

Sleepsafe is our winter emergency bed project for those sleeping rough on the streets of Bournemouth.  The scheme will again run for 22 weeks this winter, when churches will open their doors for those who want to get off and stay off our streets.

Together we can make a difference

If you want to offer Life & Hope to show rough sleepers in Bournemouth that they matter, then we want you on our volunteers team! Full training will be provided. We have provided our Volunteer Handbook to help you understand our ethos & values. If you agree with them (especially pages 11 – 12), please complete the above volunteer application form and return to us by 10th September and book your place on our volunteers’ training. Once references are received and training completed, you will be allocated to a Sleepsafe team.

Thank you for reading this we look forward to hearing from you soon!
