Steve is CEO to Prama, a local Christian care charity. With over 30 years experience of working within Christian charities Steve has considerable experience in developing programmes that are rooted in social justice as well as supporting individuals and communities who are often experiencing physical, emotional or financial exclusion.

Steve spent around 20 years within the YMCA movement, starting as a volunteer, to become a regional CEO and national board member, working within diverse communities that included the UK, Europe, the US and Africa.

Steve has previously built and led a network across 50 countries of over 600 researchers and practitioners into youth and community development as well as working with numerous cities and countries to develop public policy on age friendly and intergenerational approaches within communities. He has been an NGO “ECOSEC” representative to the United Nations in New York on issues of Human Rights and sponsored All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) in the UK leading a variety of international programmes as well as working on issues of Intergenerational Practice internationally.

Steve attends Wessex Christian Church in Basingstoke where he preaches, teaches and leads worship on a regular basis.
