Debt + Budget Support

The CMA team are continuing to provide support for those facing significant debt at this time. We are not able to run face-to-face sessions but want to offer advice over the phone or video-conference through our Food Banks and central office. Addiction + Recovery

We have adapted the Recovery project during the pandemic to continue providing support while ensuring it is within COVID-19 government guidelines. Online support: You can connect with our online recovery community on the Revive UK Facebook page here. Walks*: We run weekly socially-distanced walks in pairs!  Walks take place in Bournemouth and Poole Recovery Days: New for 2021!  We are pleased to announce the start of a Recovery Day every Thursday, 10am -  3pm at Winton Methodist Church.  The days will include food, fellowship and a range of organised activities.* *In compliance with government COVID-19 guidelines Recovery Course: The next Recovery Course will take place online from Tuesday 9 March - 15 June 2021 - book your place on Eventbrite here. Recovery Support Group: Is not currently able to meet however telephone support is available. Lone Parent Families

Some of our SMILE activities are currently able to run in compliance with government COVID-19 guidelines.  You can find out more on SMILE's website here. Support is also available online with SMILE's private Facebook group.  If you are a lone parent in Poole, you can request to join the Facebook group here. Alternatively you can text Rachael on 07954 377295 or Lucy on 07944 171432 and they will get back to you as soon as they can!* *Please be aware that Rachael and Lucy work part-time.

Homelessness

Anyone who is rough sleeping, or concerned about a rough-sleeper, can contact the St. Mungo's Rough Sleeper Team directly on 01202 315962. If you are worried about someone becoming homeless during the lockdown period, the Council’s Housing Options team are available to provide advice, support and guidance. The best way to contact the team direct is to email: bcphousingadvice@bcpcouncil.gov.uk Our BCARS Helpline is available Monday - Friday, 10 am - 12 pm (excluding bank holidays).  We help rough sleepers and those who are temporarily housed to access support and services available locally.
