Welcome to our page! Back in 2014, Faithworks Wessex, a local Christian charity, helped pull together Christians from various churches in Bournemouth to form a community interest group… and BCARS was formed.
Our common interest is that every human being has the right to a bed and somewhere safe to sleep. We also want to live in a community that cares for those less fortunate than ourselves.
We want to work with businesses, churches, voluntary groups, statutory services and partners in the common good of making sure everyone is seen as valuable and worthy of our respect, dignity and (perhaps most importantly) our love. We want to love people in the way that we believe God loves each one of us. So, if you want to help people off the streets and help them to have the opportunity for their lives to be restored, transformed and have a better 2nd half to their life, read on…
We currently have 4 exciting and innovative projects that have now taken root in our town to help achieve our aims and vision of offering everyone HOPE.
