Faithworks is a founder member of the HAC that is bringing over 25 local agencies, businesses, and charities together to do more by doing it together.
There are many outstanding organisations in the BCP conurbation that are working to reduce homelessness. However, the scale of the issue means that no one organisation can hope to do all that is necessary to help people get off the street, stay off the street, and thrive away from the street.
So, 25 organisations who work with people who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness have started collaborating to deliver ideas that they can only do by working together. Our ultimate goal is to see an end to rough sleeping in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. To help with this, we have formed a new CIO called the BCP Homelessness Action Collaborative (HAC) with:
A Vision: A Dorset where everyone knows that no one has to be homeless
A Mission: Unify and call to action every person and organisation who shares our vision and values
Values: Innovation, Collaboration, Education
A Purpose: A lifeline for vulnerable people, providing hope, love and sustainable solutions
